“…even after his retirement, he continued to work in the Institute’s technical department. Because of the increased number of students, he designed four lecture halls with capacities of 160–180 seats each, arranging them so that two large lecture halls were added to each wing of the old main building, for a total of four, and he also supervised their construction. He likewise doubled the boarding-school building by fully developing the southern side as well (this is where the horticulture department was housed).”
