“Around this time he designed the buildings of the Iris porcelain factory in Cluj (still widely known by this name today), which were subsequently constructed. Despite their overall simplicity, these buildings represented the first modern industrial construction of higher artistic ambition in Cluj. (It is regrettable that during later large-scale reconstructions at least the water tower was not preserved in its original form.)”
