Body

The building, located within the grounds of the city’s Calvinist fortified church, is almost concealed by the surrounding weeping willows. The architecture is reduced nearly to a minimum, which as a result lends it an almost monumental character. The curved entrance porch is built entirely of stone, and the extensive use of stone also characterizes the walls of the chapel itself. The simply tiled, curved roof is expressed on the interior as well, serving as the sole decoration of the inner space.
