Around 1959–1960, Kós Károly prepared several design variants, of which the presbytery selected the second. The parsonage building was completed in 1970, based on plans by Lajos Nagy.
A comparison of Kós Károly’s original sketch drawings with the completed parsonage shows how sensitively the architect was affected by the success or failure of a building.
The Calvinist parsonage of Misztótfalu, near Nagybánya, is—apart from the Calvinist parsonage in Óbuda (1908–1909)—the only minister’s residence that was built entirely according to the designs of
A single-storey, L-shaped building. It was constructed with significant modifications to the original design.
The church was created by converting a school sports hall, with a modest extension and the addition of a tower. The tower was built with modifications that differed from the original design.
The building, located within the grounds of the city’s Calvinist fortified church, is almost concealed by the surrounding weeping willows.
A megvalósított bogártelki parókiát Kabay Béla lefényképezte, bár az épület kevés hasonlóságot mutat Kós munkáival.
